We understand that plans can change from time to time.
If you need to withdraw from the program, this form will notify the Administrative Office of your intent to withdraw.
Students are encouraged to review the Refund and Withdrawal Policy in full alongside submission if this Intent to Withdraw Form. Students must submit NMI’s Intent to Withdraw form to notify the school in writing of their desire to withdraw from the program. A student is eligible for a refund after their withdrawal from the program has been officially processed and complete. The official date of withdrawal will be outlined in the confirmation of withdrawal email.
Upon receipt of your Intent to Withdraw form, the Administrative Office will review the current financial standing in the program, assess any refunds that may be applied to the account, and set a withdrawal date.
NOTE: Once a withdrawal is processed the person will no longer be an active student at NMI. No new academic modules, including resubmissions for failing work, will be considered for withdrawn students. No new clinical experiences, including resubmissions, submitted will be reviewed after the date of the student’s withdrawal. Any pending academic and clinical experiences for review that were completed during the time the student was actively enrolled at NMI will be processed in a normal timeframe, typically 2-4 weeks.
TRANSCRIPTS: In most cases, NMI will be able to issue a transcript to the student or another institution the student plans to transfer to within 1-2 weeks. If a withdrawn student had pending academic or clinical work that had not yet been reviewed at the time of withdrawal, a complete transcript cannot be issued until this work is reviewed, within its typical 2-4 week turnaround.
Thank you for taking the time to inform us of this change. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
